Tour Plan
Depart from Addis Ababa by morning flight to Lalibela. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, begin exploring the Northern Group of Rock-Hewn Churches, including Biete Medhane Alem, Biete Maryam, and Biete Golgotha.
Overnight in Lalibela.
After breakfast, continue the exploration with a visit to the Southern Group of Churches, such as Biete Emmanuel, Biete Abba Libanos, and Biete Gabriel-Rufael.
After lunch, visit Biete Giyorgis (St. George’s Church) — the most iconic, cross-shaped church in Lalibela.
Optionally, experience a traditional coffee ceremony or short hike to a local village for cultural immersion.
