Take an early morning flight from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa (about 1 hour). Upon arrival, drive to Harar (approx. 1 hour). Explore Harar’s ancient walled city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its narrow alleyways, colorful markets, and unique culture. Visit the Harar Jugol Wall, local mosques, and traditional houses. In the evening, experience the famous “Hyena Feeding” ritual outside the city. Overnight stay in Harar.
After breakfast, explore more of Harar’s historical sites or visit local artisan workshops. Later, drive back to Dire Dawa for a brief city tour, including the railway station and local markets. Take an afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa. End of tour.
